Blue Water Self Storage is a neighborhood of self storage facilities local to the state of Michigan. We have been proudly serving the Blue Water Area and its surrounding Michigan counties since 2012.

Terms and Conditions

Terms of Sale – Auction Vehicles

All vehicles are sold “AS IS,” “WHERE IS,” and/or “FOR PARTS,” with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Unless otherwise specifically stated, all vehicles are sold as parts vehicles only.

Buyers acknowledge that all information provided regarding vehicles is for convenience purposes only and is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Information may be provided verbally, in writing, through photographs, or online listings and may include, but is not limited to, the year, make, model, VIN, mileage, odometer disclosure, condition, actual cash value, estimated repair costs, damage type, operability, title status, and state or country of registration. Buyers shall not rely solely on such information when placing bids.

It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to inspect, verify, research, and determine the condition, status, authenticity, and marketability of any vehicle prior to bidding or purchase. We strongly encourage all buyers to inspect vehicles in person before participating in any auction.

Vehicles may be relocated, transferred, stored, or towed off-site prior to auction sale. Seller reserves the right to move vehicles between storage facilities, impound lots, auction locations, or other designated properties as necessary for operational, legal, safety, or auction purposes. Vehicle locations may change without notice prior to auction.

We do not guarantee that any vehicle currently meets, or can be modified to meet, local, state, provincial, federal, emissions, safety, inspection, or registration requirements. We further make no guarantee that any vehicle can be legally titled, registered, or operated in any jurisdiction.

Titles will not be issued at the time of auction. A BDVR-140 form, as required by the Michigan Secretary of State, will be provided to the buyer within approximately two (2) weeks; however, processing may take up to six (6) months for vehicles registered outside the State of Michigan or for vehicles not located through Michigan lien search records. It is solely the buyer’s responsibility to apply for and obtain title documentation through the appropriate Secretary of State or licensing authority.

Buyer assumes all risks associated with the purchase, ownership, transportation, registration, repair, resale, and use of any vehicle purchased at auction, including variations in title branding, salvage designation, registration requirements, or marketability between states, provinces, or countries.

Who May Attend the Auction

Auctions are open to the public; however, tenants whose property is being auctioned, as well as their associates, agents, family members, access users, or representatives, are prohibited from attending the auction or entering the property unless prior written authorization has been provided by management.

All attendees may be required to present valid government-issued photo identification prior to entering the property. Attendees must register their information and execute any required liability waiver or hold harmless agreement before participating in or attending the auction.

BLUE WATER SELF STORAGE LLC reserves the right to refuse entry, deny participation, remove any individual from the property, or cancel participation privileges at any time and for any lawful reason.

Threatening, disruptive, abusive, intimidating, harassing, violent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior toward staff, auctioneers, customers, tenants, or attendees will not be tolerated. Any person engaging in such conduct will be removed from the premises immediately and may be permanently prohibited from attending future auctions or entering company properties.

No Refunds / Removal of Property

All auction sales are final. No refunds, credits, exchanges, chargebacks, or cancellations will be permitted under any circumstances.

BLUE WATER SELF STORAGE LLC makes no representation or guarantee regarding the condition, completeness, operability, functionality, value, or merchantability of any auctioned property, including vehicles, trailers, boats, storage unit contents, or personal property.

Buyer assumes full responsibility for all costs and liabilities associated with the purchase, removal, transportation, storage, disposal, repair, registration, insurance, towing, legal compliance, and ownership of any purchased property, including but not limited to towing fees, mechanic fees, labor costs, disposal fees, storage charges, taxes, licensing fees, and insurance costs.

All purchased property must be removed from the premises within forty-eight (48) hours following the conclusion of the auction unless otherwise approved in writing by management. Any property remaining beyond the allotted removal period may be subject to additional fees, towing, disposal, forfeiture, or re-auction at the buyer’s expense.

Legal Action

In the event legal action is necessary to enforce any rights, terms, conditions, disclaimers, or obligations relating to auctions, BLUE WATER SELF STORAGE LLC shall be entitled to recover all attorney fees, court costs, collection costs, and other expenses incurred to the fullest extent permitted by law.
